TIFTON—Golfers with freshly scrubbed clubs at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Forest Lakes Golf Club will have Dr. Larry and Debra Moorman to thank since a new club washer is now in place at the driving range.
“The Moormans have always been so kind to us at Forest Lakes, and we really appreciate their generosity,” Austin Lawton, the golf course superintendent at Forest Lakes, said. “They had previously given us a ball washer and now the club washer will really come in handy.”
The Moormans donated the nine-hole Forest Lakes Golf Club to the ABAC Foundation in 2002. They donated the clubhouse building at Forest Lakes to the Foundation in 2009.
