The mission of the library is to ensure access to information for the ABAC community. The materials provided by the library focus on supporting the curriculum. The library will make materials available to all students, faculty, and staff, will assist in the use of these materials including but not limited to critical evaluation of resources, will provide access to materials not located in the library through partnership with other colleges in Georgia, and will provide opportunities designed to foster lifelong learning.

The Dorothy King and Betty King Carr Children's Classic Collection
Baldwin Library Children’s Collection, provides pictures books to both college and community. It features Newberry Honor and Caldecott Honor winning children’s books, as well as soft seating. This collection is made possible, in part, by a generous donation from ABAC’s past President and his Wife, George H. King and Marguerite Benson King, in memory of their daughter Dorothy. Additional donations have been provided by Margaret King Kable, in memory of Dorothy’s younger sister, Betty King Carr.
