TIFTON—Students at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College who have served in the United States Armed Forces were honored at a Veterans Day breakfast on Friday morning in the Melvin L. Merrill ABAC Veterans Center.
ABAC President Tracy Brundage said the students deserve special recognition for their service.
“These students have served our great country in a special way, and now we’re doing everything we can to help them navigate the rigors of a college education,” Brundage said. “I applaud their dedication.”
Catered by ABAC Dining Services, the breakfast was open to all veterans who are ABAC students, faculty and staff.
Jessica Miller, Bursar and ABAC Veterans Certifying Official, coordinated the event.
