TIFTON—The Bainbridge campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College has scheduled ABAC Bainbridge Days for Saturday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 27.
The Saturday schedule will run from 8 a.m. until noon, while Tuesday’s hours will be from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Dr. Michael Kirkland, the Executive Director of the ABAC Bainbridge campus, said that both days will be a great time for potential students to learn about what the school has to offer and get hands-on assistance with applications.
“We look forward to sharing ABAC’s offerings with the community as well as assisting any student with admissions, class registration, scholarships, or financial aid,” Kirkland said.
Prospective students can get help with admissions and Kirkland said anyone who brings their transcripts will be eligible for “Quick Admit,” which will allow them to sign up for a tentative class schedule that day. The application fee will also be waived for anyone who applies on those days.
Students who attend classes in Bainbridge are given the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business as well as an online RN to BSN Bachelor’s degree without transferring to a different location. Students can also earn the Associate of Science in Core Curriculum and the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN leading to the RN) at this site. Upper level coursework is now being offered in Bainbridge for Biology and History and Government, and ag classes are being offered in Bainbridge for the first time as well. Those who complete the first two years of the bachelor’s degree in Writing and Communication at Bainbridge can transfer to ABAC Tifton for the final two years.
Kirkland also said that attendees can learn about $20,000 in scholarship opportunities, including scholarships specifically for non-traditional students.
