Although you were only a student at ABAC for a season, you are an alumnus for life! Our alumni are very important to us. We want to stay in touch with you concerning events in your area and on the ABAC campus, and we also want to know about your achievements as an ABAC alumnus.
Alumni Association
The ABAC Alumni Association consists of over 40,000 former students who have completed at least 15 quarter hours or 10 semester hours of academic courses at ABAC. The Director of Alumni Relations, based in the Office of College Advancement, serves as the staff liaison to the Association.
The Association is chartered to:
- Seek out and encourage well-qualified young people to attend ABAC.
- Develop a better understanding and appreciation among the general public as to the contribution ABAC makes to the economic, social, and cultural life and spiritual life of Georgia.
- Work with the ABAC administration in recruiting and retaining well-qualified and capable faculty members.
- Sponsor the annual homecoming activities and events.
- Work with the ABAC administration and the ABAC Foundation, Inc. to secure funds which will strengthen and enrich the educational and extracurricular programs of the College.
- Advise and counsel with the ABAC administration relative to the feelings of the alumni and general public concerning Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Alumni Awards
The ABAC Alumni Association presents 10 prestigious awards each year during our Homecoming celebration. We invite you to nominate ABAC’s best and brightest for these awards.

Important Information:
- You can nominate more than one person
- You do not have to be an ABAC alumnus to make a nomination
- Nominations are active for two years
- Your nominee did not have to graduate from ABAC
