Freshman

You graduated from an accredited high school within the past five years, and have no college experience or fewer than 30 semester hours of college credit.

Homeschooled

You were homeschooled or graduated from an unaccredited high school.

Transfer

You have attended an accredited college or university and have at least 30 semester hours of transferable credit.

*If you have less than 30 hours of transferable credit, you will need to submit an official high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores if you graduated from high school within the past five years.

Dual Enrollment

You are in high school and are seeking to enroll for college credit.

The Dual Enrollment funding program provides 30 semester hours of Dual Enrollment Funding.  The DE funding pays full tuition and the College provides textbooks.  The only cost associated with Dual Enrollment will be the lab fees for science courses.

Former/Readmit

You have not attended ABAC within the last three terms OR

you have attended ABAC within the last three terms.

Nontraditional

You have been out of high school for at least five years, and your high school graduation was at least five years ago, and you hold a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school, and have earned less than 30 transferable credit hours.

Transient

You are currently enrolled in another accredited college or university and plan to enroll in ABAC classes for only one term then transfer the courses back to your home institution.

*You must submit a transcript request in order for ABAC to send an official transcript to your home institution at the end of the term.

International

You were born outside of the United States or its territories, or completed secondary education outside the United States or its territories, or underwent coursework at any college or university outside the United States or its territories.

GED

You have earned a General Education Diploma (GED).

Post-baccalaureate

You already hold a baccalaureate or higher degree.

Senior Citizen

You are 62 years of age or older and wish to attend as a regular student or an auditor, on a space-available basis, without payment of fees except for supplies and laboratories.
