Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) serves as an institutional support function of the College to assist in the College’s pursuit of its mission of instruction and outreach. OFA provides students, parents, and other constituencies with an effective and efficient service with which to conduct their financial affairs with the College.

The process of applying for financial aid can be simplified by following our Top Three Tips:

  1. Be sure your financial aid applications are error-free.
  2. Read applications carefully and respond to the questions asked as thoroughly as possible.
  3. Pay careful attention to all communications you receive from our office.

Steps to Apply for Financial Aid

  1. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). ABAC School Code: 001541
  2. Submit any requested documents to the Office of Financial Aid immediately upon request to expedite the financial awarding process.
  3. The 2025-2026 FAFSA is now available for student enrolling for Fall 2025 through Summer 2026. (Students enrolling for Summer 2025 will need to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA, as well. Please visit StudentAid.gov to access the 2024-2025 FAFSA).

Policies and Maintaining Aid Eligibility

Federal regulations require that students meet basic academic progress standards to receive federal financial aid. Each school sets its own policies within the federal guidelines.

NOTE:  Please be advised that appeals are not guaranteed.  Schedules are not held while waiting on appeal decisions. There is the option to set up a Payment Plan to secure your schedule.
