Jeffrey A. Ross, EdD, RN, CNE is Dean and Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Dr. Ross has an Associate Degree from Darton College, a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from Albany State University, and a Doctorate in Nursing Education from the University of West Georgia. Dr. Ross also maintains certification through the National League for Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator.
Dr. Ross has twenty years of teaching experience in allied health, practical nursing, associate and baccalaureate nursing degree level programs. Dr. Ross has also served as department chair for both practical and associate degree programs. Dr. Ross’ nursing clinical specialties include medical/surgical, long-term care, nursing management, and hospice care.
Dr. Ross and his wife Jennifer make their home in Donalsonville, Georgia with their son, Joshua.

With the exception of women's health and pediatrics, Dr. Ross has taught all courses with the ASN program. In addition, Dr. Ross has experience in teaching several of the RN-BSN courses offered by ABAC.
Dr. Ross has researched faculty mentorship within nursing education with an emphasis on scholarship outcomes.
Dr. Ross also has an interest in researching nursing program admission requirements, student success in nursing school as well as accreditation in nursing education.
