Education and Wellness
I have lived most of my life in Georgia and have been an educator for 12 years. My wife and I have a large family. We enjoy being outside, working on projects, and having adventures. Our first love is travel. We have visited many places in South America and Europe. I enjoy exercising and painting.
I am a Certified teacher in the state of Georgia. I am qualified to teach Special Education students in grades K-12. I am also qualified to teach History at the college level. I am also qualified to teach EDUC at the college level as well. I enjoy passing along content and experience-based knowledge to students. I hope my commitment to teaching in and out of the classroom has a positive and edifying impact on my students!
I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Anthropology at Georgia Southern University. My masters thesis was an exploration of material artifacts from an 18th century rice plantation in South Carolina. I am currently pursuing an Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction at Valdosta State University.
I am engaged in Collegiate FFA and Horticulture Club activities at ABAC. I also assist our faculty and students with whichever activities they are involved with in an attempt to improve their overall experiences at ABAC. I have also traveled to South America and Europe with college students and intend to continue.
