What is academic probation?
Students are required to maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. When students’ overall GPA falls below 2.0, they will be placed on probation. First-year students who are placed on probation for the first time will be required to work with an Academic Support Counselor. All students who are on academic probation will be restricted to taking no more than 12 semester credit hours and are encouraged to seek assistance through the Academic Support Center.
