TIFTON—Ernest Kelly was honored for 35 years of service at the recent faculty-staff recognition ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. ABAC President David Bridges presented the award to Kelly in a televised ceremony in the ABAC TV studio.
Kelly, a systems administrator in the Office of Technology Services, led the list of honorees who also included employees who have been at ABAC for 25, 20, 15, 10, and five years. All the honorees were treated to a reception in Tift Hall.
Award recipients for 25 years of service included Gary Dicks, Dr. Sandra Giles, Dawn Harrison, Melanie Murphy, and Dr. Amy Willis.
Honorees for 20 years of service included Doug Hicks, Dr. William Moore, Dr. Jeff Newberry, Dr. Susan Roe, Dr. Darby Sewell, Hope Toole, and Dr. Yu Zhang. Deborah Drummonds was honored for 15 years of service.
Ten-year award recipients were Gwen Anderson, Garrett Boone, Brenda Corbin, Dr. Molly Day, Cindy Epperly, Lynda Fisher, Dr. Jason Scott, and Dr. Ray Smith.
Recognized for five years of service were Sonya Alexander, Kimberly Baldwin, Kathy Cooper, Carmen Counts, Dr. Joseph Devaney, David Edens, Dr. Joseph Falcone, Dr. Frank Flanders, Tracy Fouraker, Craig Garey, Sara Hand, Trent Hester, Jason Kohler, Tia Kohler, Dr. Elizabeth Medley, Tammy Nowell, Dr. Lucia Ona Ruales, Dr. Buddhi Pantha, Dr. Rachael Price, Dr. Randy Reagan, Angela Ritchey, Ashley Robinson, Suzanne Smith, Sunny Sparrow, Dr. Ryan Voris, and Dr. Branagan Webb.
Classes begin for the summer term at ABAC on May 31.
