Adult Learners

Adult Learners are important to us at ABAC. We consider adult learners to be students who are 25 and up who are wanting to earn college credit and/or complete a college degree. This site is a tool for you to learn about the resources available to you on your college journey.

Resources

Most Adult Learners fall under the admissions categories of Non-traditional, Transfer, or Former/Readmit. If you are unsure which category fits your situation best, our Admissions Team will be happy to assist you. You may reach them at 800-733-3653 option 1 or email admissions@abac.edu.

Paying for college

Course Formats

ABAC offers in-person courses and online courses. We also have an instructional site in Bainbridge, GA.

Credit for Prior Learning

You may be eligible for college credit for previous college and/or work experience.

Learning Support Requirements

Many students starting their college journey are required to take learning support co-requisite classes along with their first English and math courses. Students may take the Accuplacer placement exam to see if they can exempt these co-requisite classes.
