ABAC Tribute Series presents Highwaymen tribute on April 3

The ABAC Tribute Series will conclude on Thursday, April 3 with The Highwaymen Show: American Outlaw Tribute at the college’s Howard Auditorium.

This tribute show channels some of the most iconic names from country music - Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson - with a show full of upbeat, honky-tonk hits.

Fans of classic country will take a trip down memory lane with such hits as Highwaymen, Mama Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys, Always On My Mind, and Me and Bobby McGee. The show has toured all over North America and features Alabama native Gray Sartin as Johnny Cash, North Carolina native Greg Bauman as Kris Kristofferson, Georgia native Tyson Halford as Willie Nelson, and Tennessee native Stefan Superti as Waylon Jennings.

The ABAC Tribute Series presents original artists and tribute bands representing some of the greatest performers of rock, soul, country, and rhythm and blues.

Doors open for the concert at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased online at artsatabac.com.
