ABAC Tribute series changing latitudes and attitudes with Jimmy Buffett tribute show
TIFTON — The ABAC Tribute Series will bring a taste of the beach to Howard Auditorium on Tuesday, October 21, with A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show.
Formed in 1992, A1A has performed for countless high-profile clients, Parrot Heads, and fans nationwide. The energy, musicianship, and excitement surrounding founder Jeff Pike and the band—along with their dedication to preserving Jimmy Buffett’s legacy—have made A1A the first, foremost, and longest-running Jimmy Buffett tribute show in history.
“This fabulous group out of Atlanta is the only Jimmy Buffett tribute band ever endorsed by Jimmy Buffett himself,” said Wayne Jones, Arts Connection Director. “Members of A1A have performed with Buffett as guests or even as members of his band on multiple occasions. Their shows attract Parrot Heads and fans from across the country. This is a concert everyone will enjoy!”
The ABAC Tribute Series showcases original artists and tribute bands celebrating some of the greatest performers in rock, soul, country, and rhythm and blues.
All ABAC Tribute Series events begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at arts.abac.edu.
