More than 2/3 of Georgia’s 37 million acres are forestland. As one of Georgia’s largest agricultural industries, forestry and natural resource management will continue to play a significant role in not only the state and regional economy, but also in policy areas ranging from environmental regulation and climate change amelioration to recreation and agritourism.
As a student in ABAC’s Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management, you will choose one of three tracks of study to build your foundational knowledge; develop a deep understanding of the science, policies, and practices that underpin our natural resource policy; and learn how to use your education to help protect, conserve, and best utilize our precious natural resources.
