If you have a passion for music, ABAC’s Associate of Fine Arts in Music is designed for you. Offering a broad base of musical experiences, from individual performance to large ensembles, an Associate of Fine Arts in Music gives you the foundations and opportunities you need to hone your skills while preparing you for additional study after you complete your ABAC journey.
With concentrations in both instrumental and vocal performance, ABAC’s music degree combines personal instruction alongside coursework in musical theory, providing every element of music education expected of students in the first two years of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. In ABAC’s five large ensembles and numerous small ensembles, you’ll perform alongside other Music majors and other musically inclined students from across the College.

What You Will Study:
You will receive the same phenomenal general education core that all ABAC students study in their first two years as a Stallion. In these classes, you will learn and work alongside students from every single major on campus, gaining insight from and sharing experiences with a diverse cross-section of the student body.
As a Music major, you will also study general music theory, earn course credit for your work with ABAC’s musical ensembles, and receive both classroom and detailed one-on-one instruction with your vocal coach or instrument instructor.
