The Associate of Science in Core Curriculum provides students with the benefits of a broad general education, and prepares them for further study in many disciplines at ABAC or at other colleges and universities. ABAC offers advising pathways in Criminal Justice, Elementary Education, Engineering, General Studies, and Teacher Prep, which students can follow within the IMPACTS Core Curriculum to optimally position themselves for transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at ABAC or another institution.

What You Will Study:
In the Core Curriculum program, you will receive the same phenomenal general education core that all ABAC students study in their first two years as a Stallion. In these classes, you will learn and work alongside students from every single major on campus, gaining insight from and sharing experiences with a diverse cross-section of the student body.
These classes will include:
• English composition and art, literature, or philosophy
• Math classes that fit your intended career goals
• History and other social sciences
• Overview and entry-level courses in your concentration
