Nursing - Associate of Science

If a career in nursing is your goal, ABAC’s generic track in Nursing is the pathway to obtaining the knowledge and understanding you need to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Between in-depth classroom coursework, study in our state-of-the-art laboratories, and clinical rotations at our partner healthcare facilities, you will build the clinical and interpersonal skills you need to pass the NCLEX-RN and start your career in healthcare.

As an LPN, paramedic, or respiratory therapist, you already have a knowledge base that will allow you to complete an accelerated, intensive nursing program that will get you to a nursing degree in just one year. In this one-day-per-week program, your experience will provide the foundation you need to complete high-intensity courses over three semesters while you continue working, preparing you to sit the NCLEX-RN exam.

 
Note: You must have completed all core classes required for this degree program in order to complete the degree in one year. Classes may be transferred in from other institutions according to ABAC and the University System of Georgia’s Transfer Policy or may be completed at ABAC prior to starting the Bridge program
