You have already been successful as a registered nurse in a clinical setting and are ready to take your career to the next level. In ABAC’s RN-BSN program, your experience as a nurse and the studies that got you there will be further developed to ready you for leadership positions and advanced nursing specialties or provide the foundation for you to pursue additional studies to advance into a position as a mid-level provider, administrator, or healthcare educator.

With studies including leadership, collaboration, and health information, you will be prepared to perform and participate in nursing research and have the breadth of skills needed to manage complex clinical environments.

Program Student Learning Outcomes Bachelor of Science Degree

Outcome 1: Synthesize knowledge from nursing, liberal arts and sciences into the holistic practice of nursing while facilitating professionalism in nursing, graduate studies, and life-long learning. 

Outcome 2: Utilize knowledge and skills in leadership, quality improvement, and patient safety to practice within an ever-changing healthcare system. 

Outcome 3: Apply theory, principles of health assessment, and current research findings that support evidence-based professional nursing practice. 

Outcome 4: Discuss skills in using patient care technologies, information management systems, and communication devices used in various healthcare settings.
